LAB ANALYST (CU)
To be considered for appointment into this position, the successful candidate must have:
• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Analytical Chemistry
• 2 Years Laboratory experience
• Medically fit

• Results Orientated, Problem Solving, Analytical thinking, High degree of integrity and attention to detail.
This position reports to the Lab Specialist and the Key Performance Indicators includes:
• Routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process, final products, and environmental samples.
• Ensure that samples are prepared for analysis by supervising and or doing required preparation e.g., drying sample, pulverising and determining moisture content.
• Follow work instructions, test procedures, reporting protocols and completion of documentation requirements diligently and timeously.
• Assist with the implementation of new analytical equipment and test methods.
• Provide support to Production on batch adjustments, corrections as per technical recommendations etc.
• Provide support to the technical department during trials based on new product, raw materials, and other improvement initiatives.
• Liaising with Production, Technical and other departments
• Carry out good housekeeping, health, and safety practices.
• Shift work will be required.
