Key Responsibilities
Conduct materials testing, internal validation, verification and calibration, maintain records, receive samples and finalize worksheets and reports.
Assist the Lab supervisor in maintaining the ISO 17025 quality management system in the lab.
Participate in developing the lab Annual Plan, as well as Performance Objectives and ensure the alignment of activities
Monitor the progress towards the achievement of the lab objectives, set direction and take prompt corrective actions to address any areas of under-performance
Provide recommendations to enhance the efficiency of the lab.
Keep the Lab Supervisor informed of significant issues or challenges that may jeopardize the achievement of the lab goals.
Participate in internal audits to assess compliance of the policies, processes and procedures for Lab related Quality Control activities across the business based on ISO 17025.
Qualification:
Should have a Diploma in Civil Engineering
ISO17025 Internal Auditor Certification
Experience:
Should have minimum 10 years demonstrable postgraduate experience
Minimum 7 years directly related experience
Preferably, have minimum 03 years experience in the gulf region
